Governor Murphy visits Prolific Growhouse

On May 30th, 2024, Governor Murphy of New Jersey came to tour our growhouse and truly see behind the scenes to the success of our business. During his visit, he expressed how our CEO and founder, David Nicolas, gives him hope for impactful change in the war on drugs, both in our state and globally.

David, born and raised in Trenton, NJ, started from the bottom and worked his way up to become the founder and CEO of our black-owned cannabusiness. His journey embodies the resilience and determination that drive our mission at Prolific Growhouse. Our goal is to build a positive impact and change the narrative surrounding cannabis, especially in communities most affected by the war on drugs.

The war on drugs has disproportionately impacted black communities, leading to high rates of incarceration, broken families, and systemic inequalities. Legalizing cannabis offers a chance to correct some of these injustices by creating economic opportunities and fostering social equity. Prolific Growhouse is committed to being part of this change, advocating for fair policies, and supporting those most affected by past drug laws, all while supplying the finest of cannabis at our Growhouse

The Governor chose to visit us to witness firsthand the progress of cannabis legalization and its positive effects at our Growhouse, and meet our team who works extremely hard to push out our goodies. Governor, it was an honor to meet you, and we will continue offer the finest of canna, strive for our legacy and impact in the cannabis industry.
