Prolific Growhouse CEO was hoping to get the gov’s attention with the namesake weed strain but didn't expect him to show up by surprise.

On May 30th, 2024, Governor Murphy of New Jersey came to tour our growhouse and truly see behind the scenes to the success of our business. During his visit, he expressed how our CEO and founder, David Nicolas, gives him hope for impactful change in the war on drugs, both in our state and globally.

The NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJCRC) approved 68 adult-use cannabis conditional cultivation and manufacturing licenses. “This is a historic action the Commission is about to take. These are the very first adult-use licenses the Commission will issue,” NJCRC Executive Director Jeff Brown said. He had previously noted their goal is to review all applications within 90 days of receiving them.
